History
Since 2022, Neumous has advanced our its focused ultrasound platform to clinical-stage development.
Supported by government-funded R&D programs and strategic investments, we have built a strong
foundation for continued innovation and growth. Building on this foundation, we continue to advance our
technology, expand clinical development, and strengthen global partnerships.
2026
- Selected for the Scale-Up TIPS Program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, securing $3.5M in research funding over three years
- Secured $3.4M in additional funding
- Granted FDA Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) for doxorubicin for the treatment of malignant glioma
- Initiation of a clinical trial in patients with recurrent glioblastoma (rGBM)
2025
- Initiation of a clinical trial in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD)
- Selected for a neuroscience research project by the Ministry of Science and ICT, securing $2.2M in research funding over three years
- Closed Series A funding
2024
- Awarded the Grand Prize at Challenge! K-Startup 2024 by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups
- Designated as an Innovative Medical Device by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety
- Successfully developed and launched a research-use device
- Completed a preclinical non-human primate study evaluating the performance and safety of BBB opening
- Selected for an international collaboration project by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, securing $1.2M in research funding over three years
- Successfully developed and launched a clinical medical device
